Canada’s schooling is internationally recognized, and their credentials are well respected globally. A student visa is also known as a study permit, and it allows foreign students to study in Canada at specific institutions.
Requirements:
You can come to Canada to study if you
are enrolled at a DLI
prove you have enough money to pay for your tuition fees, living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada and return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada
obey the law, have no criminal record and get a police certificate (if required)
are in good health and get a medical exam (if required) and
prove to an officer that you will leave Canada when your study permit expires
-
While studying in Canada, you must make progress towards completing your program, respect any conditions listed on your study permit, and stop studying if you no longer meet the requirements
Depending on your case, there may be conditions on your study permit, such as if you’re allowed to work in Canada, if you’re allowed to travel within Canada, the specific date you must leave Canada, where you can study (a specific DLI listed on your permit), and whether you need an immigration medical examination.

To work in Canada after you graduate, you need a work permit. Graduates of certain designated learning institutions are eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP). If you're not eligible for a PGWP, you may still be able to work in Canada after you graduate. The work experience you gain while working may help you qualify for permanent residence.
You may be eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) if you graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) and want to stay in Canada temporarily to work.
The length of your PGWP depends on the level and duration of your study program, as well as the expiry date of your passport, whichever comes first. You have up to 180 days after you graduate to apply for PGWP.
When you apply, you must confirm all of the following:
that you attended and completed your program
the name of your program
the length of your program
You can confirm these by submitting any of the following:
your degree or diploma
your transcript
an official letter of completion of studies from your school
If your study permit will expire before you get your marks, you have 2 options. You can either
apply for a visitor record to stay in Canada longer, or
leave Canada and apply for your PGWP

You have studied and may have Canadian work experience, and you have decided that you want to live in Canada permanently. There are programs that can help make this a reality. All you need to do is make sure you are eligible.
